Placements24 seeks an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to drive remote engineering initiatives and set the technical direction for complex mechanical projects. You will lead a distributed team, balancing innovation with quality and timely delivery, in a flexible, work-from-anywhere environment.

You will mentor engineers, define objectives, and coordinate with cross-functional leadership to push for continuous improvement and strategic impact across mechanical design disciplines.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive mechanical engineering experience, with leadership roles.
• Proven experience guiding complex mechanical projects from inception to completion.
• Expertise in CAD/CAE tools, simulations, and design for manufacturing (DFM).
• Strong leadership, communication, and ability to lead remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex mechanical systems from concept to production.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a remote team of engineers and designers.
• Define project requirements, scope, and technical objectives aligned with business strategy.
• Oversee advanced engineering analysis, simulations, and validation testing.
• Champion best practices in design, QA, and project management within a remote framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
