Placements24 seeks a seasoned Lead Mechanical Engineer to spearhead advanced engineering initiatives. This fully remote leadership role guides a team of engineers from concept to implementation, delivering innovative mechanical solutions.

You will set technical strategy, oversee design, run simulations and analyses, and collaborate with product management and R&D to align roadmaps with company goals. Ideal candidates hold a Master\'s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years in the field

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, with at least 3 years in leadership or senior technical role.
• Deep expertise in CAD software, FEA tools and various simulation platforms.
• Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects from concept to production in a remote setting.
• Outstanding leadership and communication for effective remote team management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers in the design and development of cutting-edge mechanical systems.
• Define and drive the technical strategy for mechanical engineering projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Oversee the entire design process, from concept generation and feasibility studies to detailed design and validation.
• Conduct advanced engineering analyses, including simulations and performance modeling, to ensure design robustness.
• Collaborate with product management, R&D, and other engineering disciplines to define product roadmaps and technical requirements.
• Establish and enforce best practices for design, documentation, and quality control within the remote team.
