Placements24 is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead key projects from a remote workspace. The role requires strategic thinking, oversight of complex mechanical projects from conception to completion, and collaboration with a distributed team.

You will manage plans, schedules, budgets, and risk, and ensure high-quality deliverables while applying CAD/CAE tools and modern project-management methods. Remote, autonomous work with opportunities to influence major outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering with strong focus on project management.
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex engineering projects.
• Expertise in project management methodologies and CAD/CAE software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical engineering projects, including planning, execution, and closure.
• Provide expert technical guidance and leadership to project teams and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and cost constraints.
• Conduct advanced engineering analysis, design reviews, and risk assessments for project components.
• Oversee the selection and procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project success.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control protocols throughout project execution.
