Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote IT Support Specialist to join our fully remote IT department. You will be the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance, diagnosing and resolving issues from your home office.

The role emphasizes strong technical acumen, excellent communication, and a customer-first mindset. You will handle hardware, software, and network problems, document procedures, and support a productive remote workforce.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support or help desk, preferably remote.
• Solid understanding of Windows and macOS, and common software applications.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support to end-users via phone, email, and remote access tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues promptly.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within IT systems.
• Create and maintain IT documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures.
• Assist with IT asset management and inventory tracking.
