Placements24 is looking for a skilled Remote IT Support Specialist to deliver essential technical assistance to users entirely from a remote location. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, guiding users through solutions to keep IT operations smooth.

The role requires excellent communication, a solid IT systems understanding, and the ability to work independently within a distributed workforce.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS, Office, and common business apps.
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting and hardware components.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and remote interaction skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support to end-users via phone, email, and chat.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and upgrade software applications and operating systems.
• Assist users with account management, password resets, and access permissions.
• Document support activities, solutions, and user guides.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
