Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Helpdesk Technician to join their fully remote IT support team. You will provide first-level support to employees across the organization via remote tools, diagnose issues, install and configure systems, manage Active Directory, and contribute to knowledge base.

This role requires self-motivation, strong technical aptitude, and clear communication in a virtual setting, supporting a remote workforce and robust IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in IT support or helpdesk role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, Windows and macOS.
• Familiar with remote support and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support via remote tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software.
• Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and other systems.
• Create and maintain IT support documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Assist with IT asset management and inventory tracking.
