The apprentice will work with a dedicated remote team, gaining essential IT support skills and professional certifications. The position emphasizes proactive problem-solving, strong remote communication, and the ability to manage IT issues for a distributed user base.

Qualifications

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent; some IT certification is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and networking concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote interaction.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
• A stable internet connection and a suitable home office environment are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support to end-users via phone, email, and chat.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for remote employees.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and systems.
• Assist in managing IT inventory and documentation for remote assets.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff as needed.
