Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Human Resources Generalist to support a distributed team across South Africa. You will manage end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement, while ensuring compliance with national labor regulations in a fully remote setup.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years as an HR Generalist, strong SA labor law knowledge, and experience with HRIS and virtual collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• At least 5 years as an HR Generalist, preferably with remote experience.
• Strong knowledge of SA labor law and HR practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS and virtual collaboration tools.
• Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes from sourcing to offers.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding experiences for all staff.
• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives for a remote workforce.
• Advise management and staff on HR policies and practices.
• Ensure compliance with South African labor laws in a remote context.
