Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote HR Specialist to support teams across multiple locations. This fully remote role focuses on delivering comprehensive HR support, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance in a virtual environment.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment for remote and in-office positions, implement remote-friendly policies, support performance cycles, and maintain accurate digital records in line with South African labour laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR/Business or related field.
• 4+ years as HR Specialist or HR Generalist with remote experience.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour law and remote work.
• Experience with HRIS/ATS and collaboration tools (Slack/Zoom/MS Teams).

Responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment lifecycle for remote and in-office roles.
• Provide remote HR support to employees and managers on policies and practices.
• Facilitate virtual onboarding processes for new hires.
• Develop remote-friendly HR policies and employee engagement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation and digital records.
• Support performance management cycles and talent development for distributed workforce.
