Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join their fully remote team, supporting operations primarily based in Cape Town. The role will manage day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, policy administration and compliance for a distributed workforce.

You will work independently with a strong understanding of South African labor law, excellent written and verbal communication, and proficiency with HRIS and standard office software to support employee relations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and HR practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and virtual collaboration skills.
• Experience with HRIS and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive HR support to employees and managers in remote environment.
• Manage recruitment and onboarding for new hires in remote setting.
• Administer HR policies ensuring compliance with legislation.
• Support employee relations, performance management, and development initiatives.
• Assist in administration of compensation and benefits programs.
• Contribute to continuous HR process improvements for a distributed workforce.
