Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote HR Specialist to support operations across South Africa, including the Eastern Cape, in a fully remote capacity. You will leverage digital tools to connect with employees and managers, delivering consistent HR services.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, records in the HRIS, and policy development and rollout across locations, while ensuring compliance with SA labour laws and remote work guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
• 3–5 years as HR Generalist or HR Specialist.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor legislation.
• Excellent digital communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations and admin.
• Serve as primary contact for HR queries by staff and managers.
• Maintain employee records in the HRIS remotely.
• Support policy development and rollout across locations.
• Assist in developing HR programs and initiatives.
• Monitor compliance with SA labour laws for remote work.
