Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Human Resources Generalist to support a fully remote workforce, including operations around Benoni. You will manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance to sustain a positive remote work culture aligned with company goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in HR or related field, 5+ years in HR generalist roles, strong SA labor law knowledge, and proficiency with HRIS and virtual collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years in a generalist HR role, with remote work experience.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and compliance.
• Proficient with HRIS and virtual collaboration tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment using virtual tools and platforms.
• Oversee onboarding for remote employees.
• Advise on employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies in a distributed workforce.
• Develop HR strategies to boost engagement and retention.
