Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote HR Generalist with a strong focus on full-cycle recruitment to join our dynamic team. This role supports employees and hiring managers remotely, handling sourcing, interviewing and onboarding across distributed teams.

You will manage ATS-based recruitment, contribute to HRIS data management and general HR duties, while ensuring a positive candidate experience. East London, Eastern Cape experience is a plus; remote work with flexible hours offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years HR experience with emphasis on full-cycle recruitment.
• Proven ATS usage and recruitment tooling experience.
• Excellent interviewing, sourcing and assessment skills.
• Solid understanding of HR principles, employment law and best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication for remote work.
• Highly organized with ability to multitask.
• Independent, proactive and able to collaborate with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing and offers.
• Develop sourcing strategies to attract top talent across roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and placements.
• Conduct assessments and reference checks for candidates.
• Facilitate onboarding and ensure smooth integration of new hires.
• Maintain candidate data in the ATS and HRIS systems.
• Support general HR duties and respond to employee inquiries.
• Contribute to HR projects and improve candidate experience.
• Stay updated on recruitment best practices and market trends.
