Placements24 is seeking a Remote HR Coordinator to support a distributed HR team from anywhere in South Africa. The role focuses on coordinating onboarding/offboarding, maintaining HRIS employee records, and assisting with recruitment activities in a fully remote environment.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years in an HR support or similar role, strong organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with HRIS systems.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in an HR support role or related administrative position.
• Familiarity with HR processes and basic employment law principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to a remote setting.
• Ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.
• Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Help organize virtual company events and training sessions.
