Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Helpdesk Analyst to join their distributed IT support team. In this fully remote role, you will provide first-level technical support to employees, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues to minimize business disruption.

You will work independently while being part of a supportive, remote-first IT department that values problem-solving, strong communication, and reliable service delivery across a dispersed workforce.

Qualifications

• Experience as Helpdesk Technician or IT Support Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of PC hardware, Windows/macOS, and common software.
• Experience with remote support tools and network troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support to end-users via phone, email, and remote access.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network incidents.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
• Document all support activities in the ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff with detailed notes.
