Placements24 seeks a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst specializing in FP&A to join our remote finance team. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, building complex models and preparing management reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• MBA or CPA designation is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling techniques.
• Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, SAP BPC) and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial statement analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
• Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support long-range planning, scenario analysis, and investment decisions.
• Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management, highlighting KPIs and variance analysis.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, profitability drivers, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
• Partner with business unit leaders to understand their financial needs and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Support Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities through financial due diligence and valuation analysis.
• Streamline and automate financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor key financial metrics and provide early warnings on potential risks or deviations from plan.
• Assist in the development and tracking of operational metrics linked to financial outcomes.
• Stay current with accounting standards and financial regulations to ensure compliance.
