Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Financial Analyst to join its global FP&A team. This fully remote role involves complex financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting for an international business from anywhere in the world.

You will partner with diverse business units, present analytical insights to senior management, and drive strategic financial initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Remote collaboration and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• MBA or professional certification (CFA/CMA) is a strong asset.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros.
• Experience with planning software and BI tools mentioned in the requirements.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles and valuation methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning.
• Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances; provide actionable insights.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance reports for senior management.
• Partner with business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide support.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decisions and new initiatives.
• Enhance FP&A processes and reporting tools for efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights into business performance.
• Help develop business cases and financial projections for new ventures.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape.
