Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to drive financial strategy from anywhere. You will develop models, forecast performance, and support executive decision-making while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• MBA or CPA/CMA is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Advanced Excel and modeling software (Anaplan, Hyperion, Tableau).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex financial information clearly.
• Experience working in a fully remote capacity with time-zone flexibility.
• Familiarity with the financial services industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the organization.
• Develop complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment decisions.
• Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and the board of directors.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data, understand business drivers, and provide financial guidance.
• Continuously improve financial planning processes, tools, and reporting methodologies.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
• Monitor key financial and operational metrics, providing insights and recommendations for performance enhancement.
• Support M&A activities through financial due diligence and integration planning.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis.
