Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote FP&A Manager to lead financial strategy and operations from a fully remote basis. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, delivering data-driven insights and collaborating across time zones.

The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives in a global, remote-friendly environment. A CPA/CFA is a plus, and experience in investment management is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking experience.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques; Excel expertise essential.
• Experience with FP&A software such as Hyperion, Anaplan or Adaptive Insights is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Develop complex financial models for decision-making, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
• Analyze financial results, identify KPIs, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, board presentations and ad-hoc analyses.
• Monitor financial metrics and track progress against strategic goals.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Mentor junior FP&A team members and stay updated on industry best practices.
