Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Financial Analyst to join its global FP&A team. The role focuses on complex financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis to drive profitable growth for an international business.

You will partner with multiple business units, deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports, and continuously improve FP&A processes in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related quantitative field.
• MBA or professional certification (CFA, CMA) is a strong asset.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A or related field.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros) and financial modeling techniques.
• Experience with financial planning software (Anaplan, Hyperion, Adaptive Insights) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and valuation methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines remotely.
• Experience in e-commerce or technology industries is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze financial results, identify trends, drivers, and variances; provide actionable insights.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports and presentations for senior management.
• Partner with business leaders across departments to understand financial needs and provide support.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decisions and new initiatives.
• Enhance and automate FP&A processes and reporting tools for efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights into business performance.
• Assist in developing business cases and financial projections for new ventures.
