Placements24 in South Africa is seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to lead our FP&A function in a fully remote role. You will oversee forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, delivering data-driven insights to senior leadership and guiding strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial modeling, a track record of influencing business outcomes, and comfort with a remote, fast-growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• MBA or CPA/CA strongly preferred.
• 6-8 years of progressive FP&A experience.
• Proven financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
• Strong grasp of financial statements and business drivers.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with FP&A software.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Build detailed financial models to support strategy and scenarios.
• Analyze performance against budget and forecast; explain variances.
• Create Management reports and executive presentations.
• Provide financial partnering to departments and business units.
• Monitor KPIs and recommend improvements.
• Conduct market research to inform financial strategy.
• Identify cost savings and revenue opportunities.
• Enhance FP&A processes and system usage; mentor junior staff.
