Placements24 is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager for a fully remote role with strong links to Upington, Northern Cape. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to drive growth while delivering executive-level insights and strategic guidance.

You will build robust financial plans, manage a remote team if applicable, and partner with leaders to optimize performance. A finance-driven, data-loving mindset is essential for success in a fast-moving international e-commerce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• MBA, CPA, or CFA designation strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of FP&A experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
• Advanced proficiency in FP&A software (Anaplan, Oracle EPM, Adaptive Insights) and Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for a remote executive audience.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities remotely.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain rolling financial forecasts to predict future performance.
• Conduct in-depth variance analysis, identifying key drivers and actionable insights.
• Create comprehensive financial models to support strategic initiatives.
• Prepare executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand financial needs and opportunities.
• Analyze KPIs and provide recommendations for performance improvement.
• Evaluate financial impact of new ventures, investments, and market opportunities.
• Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Mentor and develop junior FP&A team members.
