Placements24 is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to lead the finance function in a fully remote role across South Africa. You will drive FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and reporting, while ensuring IFRS compliance and strong internal controls.

You will mentor the finance team, manage cash flow and relationships with auditors, banks, and investors, and provide strategic insights to support business growth. Remote work offers autonomy and executive compensation.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting designation (e.g., CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA) mandatory.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with 3+ in management.
• Extensive IFRS knowledge and SA tax law exposure.
• Experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling.
• ERP proficiency (SAP, Oracle) and advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure IFRS compliance, tax regulations and legal requirements.
• Develop financial policies, controls, and risk management.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and investments.
