Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Manager to lead online sales initiatives for FMCG products in a fully remote role in South Africa. You will shape digital strategies, optimize product listings, and drive revenue growth across platforms.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in e-commerce, strong digital marketing knowledge (SEO/SEM, social, email), and hands-on experience with Shopify, Magento or WooCommerce, plus analytics expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Media or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in e-commerce management, FMCG experience preferred.
• Proven record of developing and executing e-commerce strategies and online campaigns.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Email).
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a robust e-commerce strategy to hit online sales targets for FMCG.
• Manage and optimize online product listings, descriptions, and imagery across platforms.
• Plan, execute, and analyze online marketing campaigns (paid search, social, email).
• Monitor e-commerce metrics and provide insights for improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and IT for a seamless online customer journey.
