Placements24 is seeking a proactive E-commerce Specialist to drive online sales and the digital presence for a leading FMCG company. This fully remote role requires expertise in managing online retail platforms, optimizing product listings, and executing digital marketing strategies to grow the brand across marketplaces and direct‑to‑consumer channels.

You will analyze sales data, implement SEO/SEM, and coordinate with marketing to ensure strong brand messaging and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce or related field.
• At least 3 years in e-commerce management, preferably FMCG.
• Proven experience managing online sales platforms and digital campaigns.
• Strong analytical skills with e-commerce analytics and reporting.
• Solid SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and content creation knowledge.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize product listings on Takealot, website, and other online retailers.
• Develop and implement e-commerce marketing strategies including SEO and paid search.
• Analyze sales data, website traffic, and conversion rates for improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to ensure consistent brand messaging online.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to stay competitive.
• Handle online customer inquiries to maintain high satisfaction.
