Placements24 is seeking a visionary Remote E-commerce Manager to lead online strategies for FMCG products in a fully remote South Africa role. You will drive sales growth, optimize the customer journey, and manage the e-commerce platform, collaborating with marketing and IT across teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in e-commerce, digital marketing, analytics, and remote leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in e-commerce management, FMCG focus.
• Proven ability to develop and execute profitable e-commerce strategies and manage online P&Ls.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms, analytics (Google Analytics) and digital marketing channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a robust e‑commerce strategy to drive online sales, acquisition and retention.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the e‑commerce platform: merchandising, content, promotions.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends and optimize conversions and ROI.
• Manage digital marketing campaigns: SEO, SEM, social, email, and affiliates.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and IT to ensure a seamless online customer experience.
