Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Specialist for a fully remote role in South Africa. You will manage and optimize online sales channels, drive traffic and conversions, and enhance the online shopping experience for FMCG brands.

Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT to ensure seamless operations and sustained growth. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in e-commerce management, strong SEO/SEM knowledge, proficiency in Google Analytics, and a customer-centric approach to online

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or related field.
• 3–5 years of e-commerce management experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Experience with major e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
• Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media advertising.
• Proficiency with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and e-commerce reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the company's e-commerce platforms (website, online marketplaces).
• Develop and implement strategies to drive online traffic, conversions, and sales.
• Oversee product listings with accurate descriptions and high-quality imagery.
• Manage online advertising campaigns (PPC, social media ads, email marketing).
• Analyze e-commerce data and website performance to identify trends and opportunities.
• Monitor customer feedback and online reviews to maintain satisfaction.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute online promotions and campaigns.
• Ensure a seamless online shopping experience from browsing to checkout.
• Stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Manage relationships with third-party e-commerce service providers.
