Placements24 is seeking a Senior HRBP to align HR strategy with business goals in a remote-first SA environment. You will advise leadership and support employees across the organization, driving organizational effectiveness.

The role emphasizes talent management, employee relations, and change management, with a strong data-driven approach and knowledge of SA labour law. Based anywhere in South Africa, with occasional in-person meetups as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, industrial psychology, or business administration.
• 5–7 years HR experience with at least 3 years as HRBP.
• Experience in remote or hybrid environments and SA labour law knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies supporting business goals, focusing on talent management, organizational development, and employee relations.
• Provide expert guidance on performance management, compensation, benefits, employee engagement, and change management.
• Serve as primary contact for employees, addressing inquiries and promoting a positive workplace culture.
• Develop tailored HR solutions addressing specific business unit needs, ensuring labor law and policy compliance.
• Collaborate with HR team on talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development to grow and retain staff.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and provide insights for process improvements.
• Facilitate transparent communication between employees and management.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization.
• Contribute to HR policies and procedures aligned with best practices and values.
