Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior HR Business Partner to join a fully remote team and partner with senior leadership to drive strategic HR solutions. The role requires extensive HR strategy, talent management, and labor-law expertise within South Africa, operating in a remote-first environment.

You will leverage technology to build relationships, provide expert advice, and champion HR initiatives across the organization, including succession planning and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in HR or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience with substantial time in an HR Business Partner role.
• Deep understanding of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic HR initiatives that drive business results.
• Strong experience in talent management, performance management, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders, aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
• Provide expert consultation on talent management, organizational design, change management, and workforce planning.
• Lead and manage complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and compliant resolution.
• Drive performance management processes, fostering a culture of feedback and development.
• Collaborate with talent acquisition to ensure effective recruitment strategies and talent pipeline development.
• Develop and implement HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall employee experience.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
• Utilize HR analytics to provide insights and recommendations to business leaders.
• Facilitate effective communication and employee relations in a distributed work environment.
• Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
• Act as a change agent, promoting organizational effectiveness and adaptability.
