Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote E-commerce Operations Coordinator to ensure seamless day-to-day online retail operations. You will manage product listings, inventory, order fulfillment, and customer service in a fully remote role.

Qualifications

You will be the linchpin in coordinating various operational functions, troubleshooting issues, and implementing strategies to enhance the online customer journey. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily e-commerce operations, including website updates, product listings, and inventory management.
• Coordinate order processing, fulfillment, and shipping logistics with third-party providers or internal teams.
• Monitor website performance and customer experience, identifying and resolving any technical issues or user experience roadblocks.
• Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, shipping, and returns in a timely and professional manner.
• Analyze e-commerce sales data and operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to ensure cohesive online strategy execution.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for e-commerce operations.
• Assist in the management of e-commerce platforms, ensuring data accuracy and functionality.
• Process product returns and exchanges efficiently, maintaining accurate records.
• Stay up-to-date with e-commerce best practices, industry trends, and new technologies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant e-commerce regulations and company policies.
• Generate regular reports on key operational performance indicators.

Requirements

• Proven experience in e-commerce operations, online retail management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) and online sales processes.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in using e-commerce analytics tools and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and troubleshoot problems effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience with order management systems (OMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
