Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join the remote team. You will design, implement, and manage competitive remuneration and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.

The role requires strong analytical skills and knowledge of SA compensation practices, with responsibilities spanning job grading, salary benchmarking, and benefits administration. You will collaborate with finance and HR, ensure regulatory compliance, and support budgeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years in compensation and benefits administration.
• Knowledge of salary structures, job evaluation, and benchmarking.
• Experience with health insurance and retirement plans.
• Proficient in MS Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Administer all aspects of compensation and benefits programs.
• Conduct market research to ensure competitive salary structures.
• Develop and maintain job grading systems and salary bands.
• Administer health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
• Process payroll inputs related to compensation and benefits deductions.
• Develop communications to explain compensation and benefits.
• Collaborate with finance and HR on budgeting and cost analysis.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
