Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Lead Compensation and Benefits Analyst for a fully remote role in South Africa. You will design, implement, and manage compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate talent, with strong focus on equity and regulatory compliance.

You will lead salary structures, incentives, benefits administration, and market benchmarking, translating data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in compensation and benefits analysis and administration.
• Experience leading compensation and benefits initiatives.
• Knowledge of salary structures, bonuses, equity, and benefits programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and administration of compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and executive compensation.
• Manage the annual salary review and bonus process, ensuring fairness and competitiveness.
• Oversee the selection, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs (health, retirement, wellness).
• Conduct market analyses and benchmarking studies to ensure competitive positioning of compensation and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant compensation and benefits legislation and regulations.
• Develop communication strategies to effectively convey the value of our compensation and benefits programs to employees.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and leadership to provide C&B expertise and support.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and provide insights for strategic C&B decision‑making.
• Manage relationships with third‑party vendors, such as brokers and benefits providers.
