Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to design, implement, and administer remuneration and employee welfare programs, with remote work support for Vereeniging operations. You will develop competitive pay structures, benefits offerings, and total rewards strategies to attract and retain talent.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in compensation and benefits, strong analytics, experience with HRIS and MS Excel, and knowledge of salary benchmarking and applicable
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in compensation and benefits administration.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with salary benchmarking tools.
- In-depth knowledge of benefits administration, payroll, and relevant legislation.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage all employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Develop and maintain competitive salary structures and job grading systems.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation packages.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and communicate total rewards statements to employees.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation regarding compensation and benefits.
