You will assess needs, guide clients through social services, and coordinate access to grants, benefits, and other supports while maintaining confidential records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
• Experience in client support, case management, counseling, or community services.
• Excellent virtual communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation.
• Proficiency with remote work technologies such as video conferencing and CRM.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workload independently.
• Understanding of social issues and resources available in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote client support via phone, email, and video conferencing.
• Conduct virtual needs assessments to understand clients' social, economic, and personal circumstances.
• Connect clients with relevant community resources, social programs, and support services.
• Assist clients in navigating application processes for grants, benefits, and other forms of assistance.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in the organization's digital system.
• Offer empathetic listening and basic counseling; refer complex cases to specialists.
