Placements24 is seeking a Remote Customer Service Specialist to join their distributed team. The role supports clients nationwide while operating fully remotely within South Africa, offering flexibility and independence in handling inquiries and delivering excellent customer journeys.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in customer service or helpdesk, strong communication, and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in a virtual environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a customer service or helpdesk role, preferably remote.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with remote work tools and customer service software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer support via phone, email, and chat to a diverse client base.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries, issues, and complaints efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system.
• Proactively identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or information.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
