Job summary

FNB Commercial Public Sector is seeking an Account Executive to oversee servicing a portfolio of Public Sector Banking clients and to cross-sell and grow the portfolio through strategic guidance and new client acquisition.

You will compile progress reports, provide subject matter expertise, and ensure compliance with legislative and audit requirements while developing solutions for low to medium complex clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Matric and FAIS-recognised post-Matric qualification; RE5 is preferred.
• At least 4+ years in Business/Commercial/Private Wealth/Private Clients banking with 2–3 years of judgmental credit and relationship management experience.
• Understanding of government operations and the public sector dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions.
• Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership in area of expertise.
• Negotiate and provide appropriate solutions through deal structuring for low to medium complex clients.
• Manage existing portfolio and acquire new client accounts to drive business growth and sales.
• Define a sales and portfolio strategy to achieve relevant sales targets.
