Job summary

BRILLIANT COMPUTERS CITADEL AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY is seeking a hands-on Hands & Feet Support specialist to enable remote troubleshooting on customer sites. You will connect to network devices, open racks, and physically assist remote engineers with cabling, power cycling, and verification tasks.

The role requires 2+ years in enterprise networking, comfort with on-site visits, and strong communication skills to coordinate with remote teams. Travel to client locations will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, VLANs, switches, routers, firewalls.
• Experience with console connections and network device installation.
• Familiarity with structured cabling and patch panels.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and documented procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with remote teams.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Physical onsite assistance to enable remote troubleshooting and remediation.
• Console connectivity to network devices as instructed by Remote Support Team.
• Providing physical access support to the Remote Support Team (e.g., opening racks, locating devices/ports, power cycling).
• Visual verification and reporting of LED status, link status, alarms, fan/power status, and cabling condition.
• Identify network equipment types, ports, power supplies, uplinks, and patch panel layouts.
• Follow remote instructions accurately (step-by-step) without deviating from runbooks.
• Rack mounting/unmounting of network devices per site rules and safety practices.
• Patch and dress cables to professional standard and coordinate with Remote Support for post-install verification.
• Connecting console and granting remote access session; executing approved command steps; applying basic baseline actions when instructed.
