Job summary

BRILLIANT COMPUTERS CITADEL AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY seeks a hands-on Network Hands & Feet Support specialist to provide physical onsite assistance, console connectivity, and visual verification on customer sites.

You will work with remote teams, perform basic rack and cable management, and follow approved runbooks to ensure smooth deployments and troubleshooting. Travel to client locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Experience with console connections and network device installation.
• Familiarity with structured cabling and patch panels.
• Ability to follow technical instructions accurately and work within documented procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with remote technical teams.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations when required.
• Working at Heights Training Certificate and Medical Fitness Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical onsite assistance to enable remote troubleshooting and remediation.
• Console connectivity to network devices as instructed by Remote Support Team.
• Provide physical access support to Remote Support Team (e.g., opening racks, locating devices/ports, power cycling per instructions).
• Visual verification and reporting of LED status, link status, alarms, fan/power status, and cabling condition.
