Job summary

Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd is seeking an Onsite IT Support Technician in Sandton to join a client team. The role focuses on resolving hardware, software, and network issues while maintaining Windows desktops and Active Directory user accounts.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on IT support experience in Microsoft environments, including Exchange and Microsoft 365 email, and a solid understanding of networking and Office apps. The position is onsite and client-facing.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on IT support experience in Microsoft environments.
• End-user desktop support for around 50 users.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem: Windows Server, Windows 11, AD, and file servers.
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 email.
• Solid hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Good networking fundamentals and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily onsite support to end users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain Windows desktops and related infrastructure.
• Assist with user account administration through Active Directory.
• Support email systems and ensure mail flow functionality.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
• Maintain clients environment and uptime.
