Job summary

Exceed HR and Recruitment in Woodstock, Cape Town, seeks an experienced IT Technical Support Administrator for a permanent role in Cape Town. You will support client IT environments and administer Microsoft 365/Azure, Exchange Hybrid, SharePoint and Teams.

The role requires strong networking, AD knowledge and a customer‑facing service mindset, with ability to work independently and sometimes evenings or weekends. On-site work in Woodstock, Cape Town.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows 7/8/10/11 and MS Office 2016–2021.
• Experience with MacOS, Microsoft 365, Exchange Hybrid, SharePoint and Teams.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, VPNs, Wi-Fi, fibre, switches/routers.
• Printers, antivirus, server environments and AD knowledge.
• Customer service with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and maintenance across clients’ IT environments.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals and software.
• Troubleshoot issues via onsite, telephone, email and remote support.
• Manage incidents through to resolution and liaise with vendors.
• Perform software, patch and update installations.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and training to colleagues.
