Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L2) in Cape Town to monitor, diagnose and resolve incidents, keeping client IT infrastructure operational and compliant with SLAs. You will handle second‑line incidents, review tickets, and collaborate with clients and internal teams, while contributing to projects and coaching L1 staff.

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree, or relevant IT qualification.
• Experience deploying network systems and strong knowledge of Cisco/SD-WAN.
• Familiar with monitoring tools and incident management.
• Ability to implement changes and document network architectures.
• Solid understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP, routing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Review client requests and tickets to resolve incidents and problems.
• Provide second-line networking support and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with CoE and automation teams to optimize tasks.
• Establish monitoring and participate in change management processes.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and documenting changes.
