Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L2) in Cape Town to lead in resolving complex incidents, manage high‑complexity tickets, and mentor junior staff. You will work in a hybrid model, coordinating with clients and vendors while contributing to automation and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong network and security knowledge, experience with SD‑WAN and various vendor platforms, and a proactive, service‑miented mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT/Computing or equivalent.
• CCNA Enterprise or higher preferred.
• ITILv4 Foundation or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitors tickets and queues to resolve incidents quickly.
• Provide second level support and identify root causes for incidents.
• Collaborate with teams and clients, escalating as needed.
• Execute changes with risk assessment and mitigation plans.
• Coach L1 staff and participate in knowledge sharing.
• Assist automation teams to optimize routine tasks.
