Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Process Engineer with a strong industrial engineering focus to join their client’s team in Pretoria. You will analyze manufacturing processes, implement improvements and ensure smooth operation of production activities.

The ideal candidate has a hands-on, analytical mindset, 2–5 years’ experience in manufacturing, knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, and proficiency with MS Office; experience with process simulation or CAD is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
2–5 years of experience as a Process/Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and areas for optimization.
Develop and implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques.
Design and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all production activities.
Monitor production output and quality, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot process-related issues and implement effective solutions.
Conduct feasibility studies for new process implementations or modifications.
