Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Process Improvement Industrial Engineer to join our expanding operations in Nelspruit. You will analyze current processes, identify bottlenecks and waste, and implement lean solutions to boost efficiency, productivity, and quality across departments.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, 2–4 years’ experience with lean tools, and strong data analysis and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in industrial engineering or process improvement roles.
• Demonstrated experience with lean methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
• Proficiency in process mapping software and data analysis techniques.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current operational processes to identify bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities for improvement in Nelspruit .
• Design and implement efficient workflows, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles, such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Kaizen, to streamline operations.
• Develop and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of implemented changes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption of process improvements.
• Conduct training sessions for employees on new processes and improvement techniques.
