Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Analyst in Kimberley to provide essential IT support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. You will assist end-users, manage accounts and permissions, and contribute to IT documentation and asset management.

The role focuses on delivering timely solutions with strong user satisfaction, participation in ongoing IT training, and opportunities for advancement within a dedicated Northern Cape IT team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in IT helpdesk or technical support role.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and basic network hardware.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Create and update IT documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures.
• Assist with IT asset management and inventory.
