Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Industrial Engineer to optimize plant operations at a Kimberley facility. You will analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement practical solutions to improve safety, quality, and efficiency in daily production.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and strong lean, data-analysis and problem-solving skills. You will collaborate with production teams, develop SOPs, and support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years in plant operations or industrial engineering.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Data analysis and problem-solving proficiency.
- Experience with production planning and control systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze plant operations to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Create and maintain SOPs for plant activities.
- Work with production teams to troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workstation layouts and workflow.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
