Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Rustenburg, North West, to drive efficiency, quality, and cost reductions. The role blends on-site and remote work to manage projects in a hybrid setting.

You will apply lean tools, perform time studies, and develop SPC-based quality controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements in a manufacturing environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of industrial engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Proven lean manufacturing implementation and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills.
• Experience with process mapping, time studies, and statistics.
• Familiarity with MES/ERP systems is beneficial.
• ISO 9001 familiarity and cross-functional collaboration skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Design, develop, and implement new processes to enhance productivity and quality.
• Apply lean principles (Kaizen, 5S, VSM) to streamline operations and reduce waste.
• Conduct time studies, work sampling, and method studies to optimize tasks.
• Develop and implement SPC measures and robust quality controls.
• Collaborate with production, QA, and maintenance to implement changes.
• Use simulation tools to model improvements before full-scale rollout.
• Create and maintain SOPs and training materials for new processes.
• Track KPIs on efficiency, quality, and cost; report progress.
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
