Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Security Managed Services Engineer (L2) to provide second-line security support for enterprise environments in Johannesburg. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve security incidents, manage Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point platforms, and contribute to governance and change processes while maintaining SLAs.

The role requires strong firewall administration skills, incident management experience, and relevant certifications (Fortinet NSE/FCP, PCNSE, CCSA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fortinet NSE / FCP Certifications or equivalent required.
• Palo Alto Networks PCNSE or Check Point CCSA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an L2 escalation point for security incidents and operational issues.
• Monitor and support enterprise security infrastructure for availability.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across network security technologies.
• Investigate and remediate security incidents within SLA.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
