Job summary

NTT DATA in South Africa is seeking a Managed Services Engineer (L2) to provide second-line support for client IT infrastructure and services. You will monitor queues, resolve incidents within SLA, document resolutions, and collaborate with CoE and vendor teams to identify root causes and drive improvements.

The role requires a IT/Computing degree, relevant certifications, and at least 3 years' experience in a similar environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
• Relevant certifications (VMware, Veeam, Azure, MCSE) add weight.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Moderate ITIL processes knowledge and vendor coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitors work queues and resolves incidents within SLA.
• Provides second‑level support across multiple domains (Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications).
• Documents resolutions and escalates with clear change and risk notes.
• Collaborates with CoE and third parties; supports change management and DR testing.
