Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to oversee payroll, benefits administration, HRIS, and compliance in Vereeniging, Gauteng. You will optimize HR processes and implement technology solutions to support a large organization.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in HR or business, 7+ years in HR operations, and strong leadership, analytics, and stakeholder management. Hybrid work with on-site collaboration in Vereeniging.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in HR operations management.
• Experience in payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS systems.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and compliance.
• Proven ability to optimize HR processes and implement technology solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in HR data analytics and reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
• Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures for efficiency and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in HR operations through technology.
• Manage HRIS data integrity and security.
• Ensure timely payroll processing and accurate benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
• Manage relationships with benefits providers and HR tech vendors.
• Produce HR operational reports for senior management.
• Lead and mentor the HR operations team.
